To 'catch up' I went through G's calendar, where he jots little notes to himself. I thought it would be fun to put them down, without 'translation', then my translation and my thoughts.

9-15 Mommy's B day, too much fun ...lol...we had big plans, had a few drinks for my b day...then a few too many and fell asleep.

As much sex as we have and not 'getting any younger' G's knees get sore somethimes (ah, the price you pay for good sex). I was kneeling up on the coffee table and G stood behind me. My knees were killing me and my upper back/shoulder was getting a cramp...ugh...but I could tell it was 'rockin' his world' so I was quiet...he got off great, but none for me :(...but...

10-8 Early AM Still at the hotel....awesome height leather chair, facing huge mirror...very nice, relax in the hot tub and another quick before leaving the hotel...that night; best made plans....lots of fun, playing cards, music, talking and laughing...but in the end stayed up too late 3 AM...by the time we went to bed, we went to bed.
10-9 1/2 Even though we were up late, I got up early and took the boys to the farmers market and haircuts (picture day tomorrow), off to bed early...but G is "starving" so I give him a quick hand job and we are asleep by 10

Hello from the hectic household

Wow, I know I have been 'missing in action' for awhile . It has been busy, busy, busy. I was on a rotating shift at work, which throws everything out of whack. It really made me appreciate how fairly smooth our family usually runs, and realize that it is a tightly woven puzzle, change just one piece and it is a struggle to make the rest of pieces form a picture since 'something had to give' it had to be the blog.

But, I am back on my normal schedule, for at least the next 3 weeks :)

Tonight G and I are going to watch some MNF (being Tivoed right now), kids are fed, homework done, 2 loads of wash done, house picked up and work out done. Time to sit down with a glass of wine of wine, the laptop, and G's 'highlight calendar' and catch up (at least on the highlights) of the last month while we watch the game.
